Scenario

EXOS config is single-phase (immediate-apply, like Cisco IOS) but shaped completely differently — VLAN-centric, flat-grammar. The pattern: `` create vlan <name> tag <id> ← VLAN exists configure vlan <name> add ports <list> [tagged|untagged] ← ports join configure vlan <name> ipaddress <addr>/<len> ← VLAN gets L3 enable ipforwarding ← box does L3 ` No configure terminal. No interface mode. No commit`. Each line stands alone and applies immediately.

What you will do

1. Create VLAN corp with tag 100: create vlan corp tag 100.

2. Add port 1 (Ethernet1) to VLAN corp, untagged: configure vlan corp add ports 1 untagged.

3. Give VLAN corp an IP: configure vlan corp ipaddress 10.0.0.1/24. Then enable ipforwarding.
