AP-join profile — country code + SSH

Create an *AP join profile* branch-ap on WLC1: country DE, SSH to the AP enabled, and a management username noc-admin. AP join profiles bundle the controller-side settings every AP receives at CAPWAP join time.

Scenario

An AP join profile is the controller's recipe for "what to push down to an AP when it registers." A real deployment binds it to APs via a Site Tag; you build the profile here, the tag binding lands in a follow-up slice. Things that live in the AP join profile: - Country code — the regulatory domain. Required before APs in that region can transmit. Two-letter ISO-3166 codes (DE, US, GB, …). - SSH on the AP — controls whether the AP itself accepts SSH connections (separate from controller SSH). - Hyperlocation — an FTM-based location-services hint; off by default. - AP-side management user — the credential the controller pushes down for AP-local console access. The profile is enabled by default at create time (opposite of WLAN / policy-profile). To temporarily prevent APs from joining via this profile, type shutdown. Grammar: `` ap profile <name> description <text> country <CC> ssh mgmtuser username <name> hyperlocation shutdown ! optional — disable joins via this profile ``

Topology

  2. Inside the same profile, enable SSH on the AP and push username noc-admin.
